Nice! I have used a lathe and made a bowl. But I didn't quite understand the segmented bowl. This made it make sense to me. And it looks great. Love it!
Amazing work and a beautiful bowl, Frank, I'm pretty sure your videos could be used as a prescription for lowering blood pressure, they're so relaxing!
Wow! Incredible patience & talent! And incredible video! I saw you comment on Casey Neistat's recent vid and headed to your channel! Glad I did! My boss in Delaware turns bowls too! Never really realized how much work went into them until I saw this incredible video!! Keep up the great work!
That is a beautiful piece!
hi! love your work! i have a little question. didnt get what you said.. what kind of oil you used for the finish of the wood?   thanks a lot!
Awesome video, and a great end result. Very entertaining.
that was awesome bowl.  very nice work. hope mine come out this good just got a Powermatic lathe. well just waiting for it to get here.

Very Awesome work.  Could you do a wood bowl with a family's name in the wood in stead of the design?  Would love to see something like that.  :)
Hey Frank (love your work) or any other woodworking folk reading this,
Could anyone tell me what to look for in a lathe? I notice that the 'chuck' Frank uses to attach bowls is quite large. Can you buy large chucks like this for most lathes? What sort of throat size (from centre of spindle to metal frame) should i be looking at for bowl turning?
Also what would you recommend in regards to turning tools. I notice the ones you use are really long. Some i have seen here (in NZ) are really quite short. Are yours extra long?
Thanks

its finals season for me and I have been going through and watching your videos, they are so calming and peaceful to watch, I plan on having an artistic career path but this makes me want to go into carpentry.  my grandfather was a carpenter and so being in a wood shop always brought me peace, thank you for your amazing videos
Here's an idea instead of using clamps just set weights on top of the rings.
I really like what you made Frank.  And a very entertaining video too.
Very beautiful! Thanks for sharing! =)
Hello frank, superb video, great editing skills! How do you manage to turn wood segments held together by end-grain gluing? Is it really strong enough, or do you use any reinforcement??
Thanks a lot.
Hello Sir! I have very very very interest in this profession. But our country have no factory and no one know this technique. can you help me by giving technique? I have seen your maximum tutorials and subscribed.
Dude, holy shit you put so much work in your videos, it's seriously impressive. Good Job!
