Make a wood chain using a router
i think it was no noooooo problem that u used product placement.. because u told us and whats more im important u did this in a fucking cool way :D
Ahhh. Cheating! Split and glue.
My bud's grampa made 4 foot chains with an attached rectangular box with 4 open sides and a ball moving inside it: All carved from one piece of wood!
I thought this was going to be some sort of magic Ninja router skills.
Still a neat project.....
what is the benefit? our teachers taught us "do something, yes, do but it should meet one's need"
Good video, ridiculous with the product placement. In a good way XD
could have stood a porter cable hat and shirt, maybe safety glasses if they make them as well!!! hell, free router! gotta do it!
+Docteur BRICOLAGE Si vous traduisez le descrption il déclare qu'il les collées ensemble.
My mental gymnastics as I followed along your "jig making" video were enormous !
"How is he gonna get to a chain with this ? " Then, the ol' pocketknife trick showed
up ! How quaint !! Bummer !
Porter Cable, (just helping you with the product placement by typing "Porter Cable" here in the comments) Love your work and keep it up :)
If I were you I'd check your fingers to see if you have got any splinters
absolutely fantastic.
This is so cool! Really beautiful project, and honestly, the humor of the "product placement" was just hilarious!!! Very entertaining video. Now I'm gonna watch it again!
this is easier than metal if u tell me
Would it be possible to cut only one side of the link and then boil it so that it opens up like the impossible nail video?
The "P" and "C" on your fingernails had me rolling!! Funny stuff!
Do you think it would be worth using a dowel joint for the two parts that you glued together since gust gluing them isn't the strongest if you were to actually use it?

I'm sort of disappointed, thought you'd use the router to somehow form the chain out of one piece of wood, just like some wood artists to it by hand.
Great video
I think a better way to connect the pieces would be to cut an opening along one side of the link that's just large enough to wiggle through the connecting links, and then glue the cut out piece back into the opening. You'd end up with a stronger chain since the majority of usage stress happens on the curves.
you are trying to make a joke its not funny
