:(...the Minwax wood filler is crap. Following your recommendation, I purchased it to fill in a split in the wood on the leg of an antique. It WILL not stain!!! Just sick about the contrast from the filler and wood. Very displeased!!!

That Flex tec is prohibitively expensive. I'm sure it works fine, but is there a cheaper two part epoxy with primer system thats cheaper?

Can someone share what type of solvent is used in making the solvent wood fillers? I ask because I have a few little "jars" of the stuff that have almost dried up beyong use and I would like to restore it to use rather than just throwing it away.

Once you open the two-part acrylic tube, can it be capped and re-used... or will the two parts solidify in the application nozzle?
