Bending Wood with Miter Gauge Kerf Jig
Great video Jack, I set this up with different size dato's for box joints, I have tried kerfing generic home depot plywood, spruce plywood. Never works, only seems to work with nice woods. walnut etc. Have you have much success with bending lower grade plywoods? I built a beautiful wooden cyclone with segment strips and want a base larger then a 5 gallon bucket so I wanted to kerf and bend plywood. Thanks and keep up the videos I always look forward to them
you are a genius Sr. thank you for that idea.
Very cool Jack! Btw, we're new youtubers - just wanted to say hi :-)
Happy Easter from your italian friend!
I want to see what you're going to make with this and see how you fill the spaces left by the kerf cuts.
Like a box joint jig key. I never thought of using Allen keys, great idea!
thanks mate you made my day I ask the good lord for the answere and he sent me you.Praise Jesus and thanks so much
Was it actually cheap plywood, or maybe that the outside ply had grain parallel to the kerfs? I wouldn't have considered that using this technique until I watched your demonstration.
Allen wrenchs have many uses. Nice jig Jack.
Great! .A guy from here used a similar method, to build an old radio replica...but he used a router. Cheers!
Increable... With a lot of aplicattions... !!!
I'm thinking that I can make a stop like that for my table saw sled and do the same thing. Thanks for the tip.
I like the idea, very different from what I've seen. Thanks!
Maybe a modern styled chair Jack? I really like the final result! Beautiful! Lovely slowmotions to ^^
cool
For making the 90 degree curve using 3/4 ply as you did what is the distance between first and last kerf? This would be handy to know when planning a project. Thanks
As always: clever!
What an awesome jig Jack! You do excellent work!
Great idea. Thank you for sharing.
I like your dedication. The attitude you show. You don't give up easily, do you?
